Sir… google is your “friend”…the ICs markings are perfectly readable… what’s the issue here???
I asked this question here because I wasn’t sure which of them should contain the main BIOS firmware. I read the 25QU256CXIQ chip using an XGecu Pro T48, but it’s almost empty — about 90% of the chip’s memory is filled with FF.
Acer Nitro (Compal LA-K181P FH51S) UC7 XMC 256Mbit should be main bios and UV49 Winbond should be vBios
…the almost empty and mostly FF is usually not a “good” reading rigth???.. programmer model apart.
The fact that I read the data from this chip correctly is 100%.
So it could be a problem with the chip itself, or someone before me interrupted the BIOS flashing process at the worst possible moment?
Anything is possible then, right… im not the owner or the one with the system on a repair bench…
