looking for an SPI Flash Programmers that will work with both eSPI/SPI
but that doesn’t cost too much
the device is Lenovo ideapad Y700-17ISK MT 80Q0
Which way is best to solve this?

Yes, should be fine, I’ve not seen any issue with chipset vs programmer, all that matters is the actual BIOS ID / BIOS chip
