[Request] ZX-X99D3 BIOS, which allows ECC memory and fixes cold boot bug

The ECC part is self-explanatory enough, especially if we’re talking about dodgy Chinese motherboard. Although I would like to fix a weird bug where, if I turn on the server in powered-off state, no PWM modules are initialized. This is further proven by the fact that I’ve set the CPU fan speed to 40%, yet even after an hour it will still run at 100% speed. Using fancontrol and pwmconfig shows that no PWM modules are avaible in the system. Howerver, if I reboot, spam the BIOS key and apply the settings (nothing changed), then suddenly things will work as expected. I’ve tried using pwmconfig to pair the PWM modules with fancontrol but cold booting still result in no PWM modules.

I don’t know much about BIOS modding or BIOS dumping, so I might not be able to provide you the BIOS version that I’m using. Here is the link to the already modded BIOS that I can find, hope it helps.

Edit by Fernando: Thread titlr shortened and customized

It’s been more than I week since I’ve posted so I decided to take matters into my own hands. Long story short, I dump the BIOS using FPT, then flashed it using the above-mentioned modded BIOS. The board bricked so I tried flashing the original BIOS directly via a CH341a programmer and AsProgrammer 2.1.0. Somehow, it fixed the cold boot bug. I’m testing to see if ECC will work on the mobo.
