I know a lot of people are installing on Ryzen 5000 systems. I was wondering if some of you would please say what CPU you have and your wattage (either at the wall with a watt meter - like this BN-LINK Digital LCD Display Electricity Usage Monitor Plug in Power Energy Meter | eBay, or in HWiNFO Free Download HWiNFO Sofware | Installer & Portable for Windows, DOS).
The most usefull wattage reading is around 10% cpu usage (like 20 browser tabs and a youtube video playing). in HWiNFO (Free Download HWiNFO Sofware | Installer & Portable for Windows, DOS), start sensor mode > scroll down > CPU > CPU Package Power and see what the wattage is jumping up to in the first column.
If anyone out there is dual booting 7 and 10 AND IT’S CONVENIENT FOR YOU, please check Win 10 as well with the same programs and browser tabs open, etc. and see how different the wattage is. (Only need a rough number, like ~5, 10,15w difference, etc.) Thank you.
Thank you.
