Added the module for support of NVME (NvmeExpressDxE.ffs), Had to re-install windows since it was not installed and I prefered to have a clean install made with UEFI, now booting fine with my new Samsung 960 EVO.
Was a bit nervous as I originally had an issue a few year ago were a bios upgrade bricked the board but everything went fine, thanks to the well documented thread!
@P00r :
Welcome at Win-RAID Forum and thanks for your report!
The BIOS EFI module named SAMSUNG_M2_DXE supports Samsung M.2 SSDs, which are using the AHCI protocol, but does not support NVMe. Are you sure, that you have integrated the SAMSUNG_M2_DXE module instead of the much better matching NvmExpressDxE_2 module?

Indeed you are right, I should have verified I took the name from the wrong forum instead of loading MMtool, the one I have installed was NvmeExpressDxE.ffs.
I will look into the _2 to see if there’s any advantage I have corrected my post
Thanks and great forum btw
Hey P00r,
Would you be able to share the modified bios ?
This allows you to boot off NVMe storage is that correct ?
Can a drive be installed in the mini-pcie slot and booted off that ?
