Had fun this morning taking the Bios of an M4A785D-M PRO and flashing it onto a M4A785-M Asus board just to see if it was possible to cross flash one bios from one board onto another. Used a Ch341a rom usb programmer to do the flash and now when the board boots it says its an M4A785D-M Pro instead. The only difference I could see in the bios was that Sata4 port is now identified as E-Sata port. I also transfered the ACPI AML DSTD over for maximum compatibility though do not have windows installed yet to check for stability. Fwiw all the rom modules were the same essentially. Not sure what else may have changed. Was fun regardless.
