IM having a problem trying to get a raid working with 2x 6tb drives
I had the server configured with 2 x 2 tb in raid 1 but now it running out of space.
I have downloaded lasted bios from supermicro site. - http://www.supermicro.com/products/mothe…/3210/x7sbi.cfm
this has a option rom of 10.1.xxx and I have tried to open the bios file with all mentioned programs but only succeeded with PhoenixBiosEditor2.2.13
but every time I modify the bios file I either loose the Intel raid or stays the same as the original bios version.
please help or point me in the right direction as I need to try and modify two identical boards.
@ Soulman:
Welcome at Win-RAID Forum!
You are right, none of the CBROM tools seem to work with the Phoenix BIOS of the Supermicro mainboard.
Nevertheless I succeeded with the extraction of the BIOS modules by using Andy’s PhoenixTool. The Intel RAID ROM v10.1.0.1008 is within the file named OPROM01.ROM sized 85 KB.
Since I don’t have any own experience with the modification of such Phoenix BIOS, I cannot help you regarding the BIOS modding procedure itself.
Hopefully you can get support within my Forum from someone else.
Otherwise I recommend to look >here< for a solution.

Fernando
thankx Fernando, will try that tool and see it I get any joy with it.
