SuperMicro X8DT3-LN-4F IPMI FW bios - posible to update internal busybox app ?

As the title might inidicate I am simply asking if in a SuperMicro X8DT-LN BIOS IPMI part is it possible to update the busybox application binary…

Correct me if but as far as I understand the BMC IPMI bios has their own linux embedded operating system which apparent identifies as being:
BusyBox v1.1.3 (2014.07.31-01:36+0000)
Is there any way of updating it ?

in the busybox official site this version is dated 2006 (?) …
Although I am using the latest official Bios 3.03 , I am asking is if anyone has already tried to update it ?

In a nutshell I simply wanted to change the default IPMI SSH port ( 22) to other port in order to harden it …
Which in the ancient version I think is not possible … ( I could be wrong though … )

Nonetheless my question is : has anyone did this kind of update ?
if not and where can I start ?

File structure can be easily checked by opening the image in 7zip

It’s easy to extract, but difficult to restore, and get it flashed back (cramfs?/ maybe signed?). And since it’s not in a separate SPI external flashing would be difficult if somethings doesn’t work as expected…

Why would you want to change the SSH port?

Due to some networks restrictions the default SSH port 22 is blocked .
Although higher TCP ports are not blocked…

My idea is to be able to access the server ( able to start | stop ) via IPMI remotely without using the web interface nor having than a single port open ( random port though ) …
thanks for the fast reply …
