Hello folks,
Surface Pro machines run Surface UEFI .
I’m extremely interested in getting to edit the “bios” on this machines.
Everything started when i cmd:
wmic bios get serialnumber SerialNumber
i wantedt o modify this value that is retrieved from the rom itself i assume.
Then i read about computrace at bios level, etc.
I read about FAU and DMIEdit but i can’t seem to understand what i really need for the Surface Pro EUFI really…
Anyone that could help will do an amazing thing!!!

where i talked about Computrace should have given you a hint!
I’m one of those people who think the NSA is pretty much anywhere. So changing the serial number of my machine was an important aspect for my freedom, secondly looking for the Computrace strings as well.
Lastly i love to modify and customize all my electronics to the best of my advantage, Bios are always my favorite aspect to mess with

I am sorry, but I cannot help you with this. All I know is, that the chances of a bricked Surface are high, if you do anything the wrong way, but this bad consequence will definitively prevent the NSA from spying your personal Surface data.
