I have a Toshiba dynabook R730/B withe password problem
Board number is umt-sz2mv94v-0
First I burned the BIOS
Bios for Update is available at this address
You can download it by press Agree button
after download you must extract it
The package has several files
The two markup files we are discussing are
BIO007BT.COM is Bios file
EC73V160.BIN is EC file
for extract BIO007BT.COM to Bin you must use this script
And the original bios is in this address
after write bios password was still
I decided to burn the EC file
It is burned inside I/O chip part number "MEC1609"
The board have not any schematic so for jtag i need find the pins
I removed the chip after finding pins reballed it and installed it
you can find pinout file in this address
but when i erased EC chip and turn on toshiba again password was not gone
I think the password is also stored in a part of the BIOS that is not deleted during the BIOS update.
Can a friend help me with this?
