@gloobox - yes, we discussed at length in that thread I linked above, all those models you mentioned then too. We found fix in that thread remember, you posted outcome images and we fixed it

@icecreamman - If cash is tight, then look at Z77/Z87 boards and 1155/1150 CPU’s, should be plenty cheap now on ebay.
If you have IVY CPU and want to keep using same CPU, then you’ll have to look at 1155 boards only such as Z77, or budget models like H77/Q77/B75, but I’d really look for Z77 it would be best

Yes, used board is OK as long as seller is honest and does not sell garbage (ie check feedback for sure), make sure you get to see CPU socket images (several) to make sure no bent CPU socket pins.
If you find a board you like and no CPU socket images, ask the seller to add some
