Hello, I have a question about setting up RAID0 on my motherboard, TUF GAMING B660-PLUS WIFI D4. I have a couple of SATA (2) and M.2 (2) disks, and when creating RAID0 on the SATA SSD, the BIOS allows me to set it up, but I can’t do it on the M.2 SSD. I’ve checked the entire BIOS and also searched the forums, and as I understand it, I can’t set up RAID on my NVMe disks. So, I came here to ask you if there is any way to bypass this or to modify the BIOS to enable this option. I can see the disks, and in theory, it should be possible. I am asking for your help.
I believe this is due to the B660 and/or Asus mb design, as shown below, Raid only on the 4xSATA ports and Raid on PCIe only when using Intel Optane module.
Dont forget that top M.2 are cpu attached and the rest are PCH attached
Or… it lacks “VMD mapping” like this guide from Gigabyte
but its visible here in the 600 RAID guide from Asus…
