Unlocking CFG-Lock on Asus x99-m ws/se

Good day! Help with unlocking CFG-Lock on the Asus x 99-m ws/se Board. What should I provide? I would be very grateful.

@Antiko - Please link me to your stock BIOS download page, I don’t find the model you mentioned in a search

Thank you for your response. Here is the BIOS download page, I would be very grateful for your help.

@Antiko - You’re welcome! And thank you for fixing the title/model info above
Do you need BIOS with CFG lock disabled by default, or with this setting made visible to you? << Never mind, there is no such setting in your BIOS
Do you also need MSR 0x2E mod done, I assumed you needed this, correct? For MAC/OSX << So, do you want BIOS with this only, to see if it then works or not? If yes, and this does not help, you will need to request custom BIOS from Asus for this model to have CFG Lock setting in BIOS.

Thank you for clarifying. Perhaps from misunderstanding and mixed up these parameters. Yes, indeed, I need an unlocked MSR 0x2e register. You understand me correctly - for Mac OS. I contacted Asus - judging by their response, they do not provide such assistance. Thank you for your understanding.
P.S. I would like to check with you - is it possible to patch Nvram?

@Antiko - Usually, for MAC/OSX, you need both CFG lock disabled and the MSR 0x2E mod done, I don’t know if only the MSR 0x2E mod alone will allow MAC/OSX to run or not.
The “Patches” you linked above are info to do the MSR 0x2E edit on various platforms using UEFIPatch tool. That has nothing to do with NVRAM. In your BIOS, the edit is done at PpmInitialize module inside the main BIOS DXE
Do you need something changed in NVRAM too, or did you think those patches were NVRAM Changes?

I can send you mod with the MSR 0x2E edit only, if you want to try it? Actually, here, already did the edit, flash via USB Flashback ONLY - http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?fil…601497371954328

Thank you very much! About Nvram - I don’t know how it will be exactly in English, I use google translator(so it is possible that something is translated incorrectly) . As I understand it-for Mac OS to work correctly, Nvram must work on the Board itself, and not emulated. Some kind of whitelist. Is it possible?

@Antiko - That does not look like NVRAM edit, but actual BIOS module named NVRAM - Please link me to that page/post, or copy/paste that text as-is for me (I can’t copy info from image), and I can do this edit to the above BIOS for you too

There is nothing extra there. Here is a screenshot-it belonged to Asus x99 Deluxe, I think you can do this with my Board? And there was this file.

HERE IT IS, USE WITH CAUTION ONLY ON !!! ASUS X99 DELUXE !!!

Also forgot to mention by using the uefipatch bellow I have native nvram support too on my asus x99 deluxe mobo.

I will attach the patches.txt used aswell. Let me know how it works for you. Peace

@Antiko - Thanks, sorry I did not realize it was in the patches.txt
Here is BIOS with both the NVRAMSMIDXE edit + MSR 0x2E edit - http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?fil…062996684221759

Thank you very much! Tomorrow I will definitely try to flash the BIOS, and check. You are the best!

@Antiko - You’re welcome! Good luck, hopefully it will let you install MAC/OSX now! If not, you may need to flash to other model BIOS, if there is same PCB variant as your model.
Does that user with X99 Deluxe run MAX/OSX? If yes, that BIOS also does not have CFG lock setting, so this mods must be all that’s needed and CFG lock setting is disabled in backgroung already too.
