Hello!
Was given a few of these, wanted to reuse them at work but cannot due to security policy’s, wanted to see if its possible to extract/update.
https://www.dell.com/support/home/dm/en/…?driverid=dk074
I was finally able to run the command to get the .rom and .hdr, but after that, i got nothing on how to update then re-flash.
I followed the links in the other thread, but that’s got me no-where (and a python install…)
Any help is appreciated.
So, before I get in there, what all do you need? Do you need some settings changed in the BIOS? If yes, I will see if I can change, maybe/maybe not though.
And then you need to know flashing method, or do you already know that part?
Rom is all you needed! Never mind, I see this is old Phoenix Dell, HDR and rom differ in this one.
What is it you need modified?
This might help, but you need to setup Server 2012 first

This should work to get BIOS flashed once you make more progress editing what you need changed

I have already modified BIOS for Quad CPU’s if you need too.
Hi there, I have a Dell Optiplex 780, without support for UEFI boot and therefore apparently not NVMe boot either, I am checking this youtube video How to install nvme ssd on an old motherboard | Clover Boot - YouTube and trying with Clover , there is a chance to modify the BIOS legacy to somehow boot from NVMe?, thank you
