Upgrading drives to larger size in a raid 5 configuration

eg. Raid 5 with 4 1TB drives.
So as I understand it, when you replace a failed drive the other 3 rebuild it.

That said, could you replace the drives one at a time with 2TB drives, and each would be rebuilt to the 1 TB size.

The question being, after the last one is rebuilt would the capacity then change to 2TB since they are now all 2TB?

Thank you

[Orginally posted under SSD but ithe question is not really drive type specific]

@Critic
Hello Glen, welcome to the Win-Raid Forum!
Since I have no own experience with any RAID5 configuration, I am not sure regarding your question, but I expect, that the capacity of your RAID5 array will increase to 2 TB once all 4 SSDs have been replaced by bigger sized SSDs.
Good luck!

Thanks Fernando
I haven’t tried it yet, but like you I suspect it wll increase.
Whether it will increase automatically or if something else will have to be done is yet to be know!
