Please may I have a BIOS from HP P78 with liability to mod voltage offset (Undervolt) and optionally overclock too? My CPU is locked, my laptop reaches poor temps. HP Elitebook 840 G4 with the CPU mentioned above. Thank you. And if not, may I have a tailored guide (would much be appreciated)! Using GRUB btw as that’s the final resort.
Thats not a “Hot” chip processor class…
A clean thermal system and correct thermal paste applied must be enough for this model.
Modern HP bios files are mostly impossible to flash/mod without the use of an external SPI programmer and even so it can’t bypass HP RSA and all security features.

Bro, I said GRUB and mean the efi command line. You mustn’t be experienced enough… This can happen through there. This is one of the backdoors into unlocking BIOS on certain intel computers.
