What gives the most reliable RAID 1 with the ReFS file system?

I want to know what gives the best reliable system to keep data safe : Intel rapid storage drivers and tool or the Microsoft Storage Spaces system .
I want to use a RAID 1 system because I want to keep the data safe (important douments etc) and the Microsoft ReFS file system
I heard that disc drives can get corrupted and have bit rot etc.

Although I have no own experience with an Intel RAID1 system, I would prefer to create the array and to take care about its health by using the Intel Rapid Storage Technology.
