I downloaded the firmware update from the driver station, but forgot to save the original firmware.
After checking the chips, I realized that the device IDs had changed and now I can’t find the original device IDs or the original firmware of ASMedia ASM3142 and ASMedia ASM1074
Can someone from the owners of the same motherboard or with similar chips help by finding the correct ID devices as well as the original firmware

It is very unlikely, that the flash of a new Firmware has changed the device’s HardwareIDs.
If you are still able to boot into any Windows OS, I recommend to run a tool like AIDA64. This way you may find out the details of the on-board USB Controllers.
I checked the vin and dev in the old drivers, apparently everything is fine with them, and i think firmware for ASM3142 is correct.
i used this
Summary
Asmedia…–and–107x-2074-USB-3.x–and–USB-4.x-Controllers/Firmwares/ASM-114x-214x-314x-3242-USB-3.x-Controller/Asmedia-ASM-2142-ASM-3142-firmware-Version-230802_70_02_40/lang,en-us/
but i don’t know if update for ASM1074 is correct
i used this and it was able to find chip and updated, when i run it i was think it will ask before update , but it was auto updated it.

everything seems to be working, no problems are noticeable, but they can arise during the process. Is there any software way to check that the controlers is working correctly?
I updated it just because of a bug that had been present for a long time (the mouse and keyboard could go crazy from time to time - Mouse buttons were partially inverted, half or all of the keyboard keys stopped typing. On any keyboard and mouse.)
The bug was generally completely random, it could appear 2 times in a row, or it could not appear for more than a month.
Usually the Device Manager shows, whether the USB Controller is working correctly or not.
In theory, then everything works, I have a keyboard connected to the 2nd controller and there seem to be no problems, I also connected different devices from USB 1.1 to 3.1, it seems to switch the speed correctly. In theory, then the issue is settled and the firmware is quite suitable. Although there are still concerns about the ASM1074.
Still, if possible, I would like to find the original firmware for it in case problems arise with the installed firmware from DELL, although since there is a check of the controller and DELL, it is unlikely that the firmware would be installed if there was an incompatible controller, since there it was updater with the device’s search code. And when you start it again, it finds the controller and writes that it has already been updated.
