@ majid oc:
Welcome at Win-RAID Forum!
I have no idea what may have caused the BSOD. Did you use an original or a modded driver?
What does that mean? What did you test?
Regards
Dieter (alias Fernando)
thanks for answer I have install original driver, sorry i can’t find BSOD code minidump file%SystemRoot%
i have test F7 "disable driver signature enforcement" not ok.
It’s funny update or install any driver apart from the ahci 6.3.9600 = BSOD !!
What do you suggest I install or test a driver?
the problem do not have the Windows version 8.1 pro? This problem was first arose when change hard drive to ssd and change windows 7 to 8.1.
What do you think?
regards
thanks man
This indicates, that your problem is caused either by faulty registry entries or by the boot sector of your system drive and not by the Intel RST drivers you have tested.
My suggestion: Do a fresh install of the OS you want to use. I am pretty sure, that you will be able to get the desired Intel AHCI driver v13.x.x.xxxx installed without any problem.
that’s right , install new windows 10 and all driver but only ahci I got this problem please see a video .

original windows driver SATA controller 10.0.9926 update to 13.6.2.1001 restart =BSOD.
order driver is important ?first chipset ,vga, sound …when should I install ahci driver?
thanks very much
Thanks for the video file, but the media players of my OS (Win8.1) cannot play it.
I have never heard or read about such problem.
Questions:
1. How did you install the driver? Please describe the procedure as exactly as possible.
2. Have you tried the RST(e) driver v13.1.0.1058 WHQL as well?
The driver installation order usually doesn’t matter.
gratitude man
convert video file format for play windows media player
http://fs2.filegir.com/majid/AHCI_Driver.wmv
yes,I wonder ?? Only just with installation ahci–> restart–>blue screen
right, the test ahci driver installation process on video (step by step)
I can say I’ve tested all the drivers link below , no compatibility hardware chipset RST !!!
http://www.station-drivers.com/index.php…RST-13.x-Serie/
I’ll test again and apprise you RST(e) driver v13.1.0.1058 WHQL .
@ majid oc:
Thanks for having reuploaded the video file in a wmv format, which could be easily opened with the Windows Media Player.
After having watched the video I know the reason for your BSODs after having updated the driver for your on-board Intel 8-Series SATA AHCI Controller: You installed the Intel RAID driver instead of the Intel AHCI driver by hitting onto the file iaStorAC.inf. The correct INF file for your AHCI system would have been the iaAHCIC.inf file.
Furthermore I do not understand, why you tried to manually install the Intel RST(e) driver, although the driver had already been properly installed by running the SetupRST.exe of the complete Drivers & Software Set.
Edit:
This is the safest way to manually update any driver (provided, that the desired driver is WHQL certified):
- Open the Device Manager and expand the related Device Category (here: “IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers”).
- Right click onto the Controller, whose driver you want to update.
- Choose the options “Update Driver Software…” > “Browse my Computer for Driver Software”.
- Make sure, that the “Include Subfolders” option is checked and hit the “Browse” button.
- Navigate to the folder, where your desired driver files are situated (it doesn’t matter, if they are within any subfolder of the chosen folder).
- After having hit “Next” the OS hardware detection will show you automaticly the appropriate device and its driver.
- Hit “OK” and reboot.
- Enjoy it, when the device is now working better due to the updated driver.
I am tested again both drivers v13.1.0.1058 & v13.5.2.1000 WHQL and both windows 8.1 and 10 before version driver ahci win8.1(6.3.9600) win10(10.0.9926).after install no restart check Device Manager IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers tab driver set version close message windows RESTART (yes)not boot

In fact, until you restart Windows and the new drivers that do not work!!boot up system restore mod last driver not update.
I thank you for all answers and watch video
that’s right ,I was wrong but i having tested iaAHCIC.inf file and reboot The problem remains .thanks for step by step 1-8 manually install driver I’ll test again and apprise.
Edit 4-3-2015
Is there another way to solve the problem?
The first step should be to find the reason of your problem to get any Intel AHCI driver installed.
Maybe the on-top installation of several different Intel RST Drivers & Software Sets is responsable for your issues.
Questions:
- When you tried to get a new Intel AHCI driver installed, did you uninstall the previously installed Intel RST Software from within the "Add/Remove Programs" feature of the Control Panel and reboot, before you started with the installation of the new AHCI driver?
- Have you ever tried just a manual Intel AHCI driver installation without running the SetupRST.exe?
