Now both forums are still “out of sync” - old one not being updated anymore and this one (e.g. your Intel CSME thread) having very old entries.

Besides waiting after this weekend, is there any information you can give us on when these main threads will be updated?

thank you

Just like Dieter mentioned at the Welcome thread, I’ll first wait for any topic changes to migrate before further updating with current pending changes:

I’m of the opinion that it is better to wait a bit and do it properly, rather than rushing for no significant/important reason.

Thank you Wendell for all of your hard work and ongoing maintenance of this glorious treasure trove of a site. When you die many years from now I hope they make you a saint

This is my first visit since the migration, I have to say this new forum software is awful, it’s very bloated and hard to navigate, it uses a tiny ammount of screen real estate in the centre of the screen with the sides being empty, it’s clearly forum software designed for phones and tablets but the community is windows pc users. This is dumb.

Agree, mostly because , for example guides/important topics are not pinned to top of sub-topics
and we have to scrool it all over. Also some should be divided in to more sub-topics sections.

Agreed.

I used to visit here (the old one) often to read various threads just like people open FB, Twitter everyday to scroll and read posts/tweets. I have hardly visited here since the migration because of the forum software.

Greatly appreciated the work done by folks of winraid/level1techs but this software needs some interface change.

Sorry to say but I agree with the 3 posts above. The forum just isn’t the same and the layout is awful.

On a side note I’m sad to hear about the end of WinRaid - it was such a great community.
Thanks to everyone who made the site what it was.
Gonna miss it!

How do I unlock the ability to post a bios request on this site? I think I need basic trust level to post. :clock12:

Im on the badges page but I cannot find the new user tutorial anywhere on the site: Win-Raid Forum

@Arc717
You are currently trust level 0 and you must reach trust level 1 to upload attachments.

You can get to trust level 1 by:

Entering at least 5 topics
Reading at least 30 posts
Spend a total of 10 minutes reading posts

Ive been on this site for like 1 hour, how do I “read posts” I have scrolled through threads but that hasn’t triggered anything. Im trying to request a bios downgrade/unlock on an Alienware m16 R1 amd but I cant post anything in the insyde request section.

I am allowed to comment and edit my comments though, that’s the only thing I can do. It says I have basic access but I still cannot post.

@MeatWar How do I post a bios request? (I mentioned you for that badge btw, hoping that lets me post).

This is an automated server process, wait for it.
You can post a shared link from a sharing service/cloud service of your preference, you don’t need to attach a file directly to this forum, for now.

What do you mean by posting a shared link of my preference?

@Arc717, what @MeatWar is saying is that you can post with, for example, a Google Drive or Mega link in the text of your post.
