Win7 on Acer Aspire A315-22-486D: ACPI compliant error

Hello!
Tried installing Windows 7 on a UEFI Class 3/UEFI only laptop which model is written in the title… Got the 0x000000A5 BSOD. Used UEFISeven, tried patching acpi.sys and bootx64.efi. The patched acpi.sys returned 0x0000007E (with acpi.sys pointed out). Overall, still the same error. I also used Windows 10 PE, but when the OS boots up - greetings to the same BSOD. I believe I tried some other methods, a lot of them really, but they return the same damn A5 BSOD. :face_with_crossed_out_eyes:
Below are the laptop’s specs.

CPU: AMD A4-9120E with integrated GPU (Radeon R3 Graphics)
RAM: 4GB DDR4
HDD: Good ol’ WD, AHCI
UEFI: Phoenix Technologies with the latest BIOS version installed.

Haven’t got any more hope left for this piece of crap, but I don’t give up still. If you guys have any suggestions/methods, feel free to text; I’d be more than glad to try them. :slightly_smiling_face:

I can tell from experience of instaling windows xp on a modern hardware, even if i swap acpi.sy_ and hal.sy_ on pendrive instalation disk i olways need replace it again after instalation, otherwise windows will stuck on loading screen BSOD ACPI.
So i swap acpi.dll moded version again in windows/system32/drivers directory and no BSOD

Hello!

Yeah, tried it. Returns 0x0000007E. Here’s the photo.

IDK if this BSOD can produce dump files. If so, we can analyze them with windbg.

I can’t find them. Or they’re just not being created. Do you possibly know how do I make them appear?

I also have not figured it out. Maybe disassembling the acpi.sys in your machine will help whith the offset value calculated in your screenshot.
