Windows 10 on Asus h97m-e with Xeon E3-1285L v4 (Iris Pro 6300 issue)

Greetings.
I bought an Asus H97M-E for cheap and I tried to make it work with a Xeon E3-1285L v4 (Broadwell core) even tho it wasn’t listed as a compatible cpu on the Asus support page.
It seemed that it worked, at least for the first early times (as much as I recall), but now I’ve run into a weird issue about its integrated GPU, the Iris Pro 6300.
Whenever the drivers are installed, Windows 10 (64bit) crashes with an ACPI_BIOS_ERROR, even on a fresh install of the OS.
I already tried to clean pin contacts and cpu pads with isopropyl alcohol, to no avail.
I also tried a Haswell CPU, Core i3 4370 and its GPU (HD4600) doesn’t have any issue.
BIOS is already the latest available on the Asus site (2702) but I’m wondering if I should try to update the Broadwell microcode with a BIOS mod.
I also wonder if it’s my Xeon CPU that’s bad, or became bad, but I don’t have another compatible H97 or Z97 motherboard to try it.
BTW: of course if I use a PCIe card, the issue is not occurring, since it’s related to the Iris Pro 6300 integrated GPU.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

@JaPanAt, check ME version, must be 9.1.., last 9.1.2.1010

Which driver version is causing this error?

Have you tried the latest driver 15.40.10.64.4300?

It’s actually 9.1.25.1005.

Where did you get this version?
Anyway it happens with the Windows 10 autoupdated drivers by itself (I dunno what version does it downloads) , and with the 15.40.5171 that I download from here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/search.html#sort=relevancy&f:@tabfilter=[Downloads]&f:@stm_10385_en=[Graphics,Processor%20Graphics,Intel®%20Iris®%20Pro%20Graphics%20Family,Intel®%20Iris®%20Pro%20Graphics%206200]

@JaPanAt OK, well it looks like it may be a BIOS or CPU issue.

It would be a good idea to test the CPU in another motherboard.
