I’m trying to install Windows 7 on a Gigabyte Gaming HD B560M motherboard and it crashes in the second stage of installation.
I’ve used the Windows 7 image updater tool, made my own ISO with all updates and drivers and it still crashes at the second stage of install. No bsod or anything, just it shows “Starting Windows” and it freezes half way.
I’m using csm mode and its being installed to a regular sata ssd.
I’ve tried every guide on how to install Win7 on a modern hardware and I still can’t get Win7 to work on that motherboard.
Is there any way to make Windows 7 work on that motherboard? CPU is a intel comet lake.
