In a clean image of Windows 7 SP1 integrated drivers from this topic ([Solution] Win7/8.1 Drivers for USB 3.0/3.1 Controllers of new AMD Chipset Systems). Also added updates Windows6.1-KB2990941-v3-x64 and windows6.1-kb4474419-v3-x64 (NVMe driver and SHA-2 code signing support). I install from a USB flash drive, the ssd disk is detected and the installation is in progress. After the installation is completed, the PC reboots everything freezes at the windows 7 boot logo and then so that I do not do everything hangs again at the windows 7 boot logo. Why can this happen? Maybe someone knows how to solve this problem? I tried to install windows 10, everything works fine, but I would like the good old windows 7…
I have not tried installing clean windows 7, since SP1 does not support NVMe.
And i have absolutely the same problem with Asus X470 motherboard. I use the same updated and integrated ISO, that i used for MSI B550i motherboard, where Win 7 starts after installation. Seems like something wrong with ASUS motherboards, i will go back to MSI.

Please try to install "AMD_1.0.0.13_MOD_Win7" USB drivers after completing the installation of Windows 7.
It might work.
How can I install the drivers after installing the OS, if the OS doesn’t even boot, but just hangs on the boot logo?
@red15530
you’ll need to get past the boot logo before you can do anything.
did an unmodded windows 7 ISO work?
@red15530
The integrated "AMD_1.0.0.13_MOD_Win7" USB drivers is probably the reason why Windows 7 gets stuck at the installing on ASUS motherboards.
Try installing windows 7 without "AMD_1.0.0.13_MOD_Win7" USB drivers.
I d like to give a try before i change motherboard to MSI. But what usb driver should i add to iso instead 1.0.0.13?
Integrate this USB driver into Windows 7 ISO.
32/64bit AMD USB 3.1 Controller and Hub Drivers v1.0.5.3 WHQL
for [X370 B350 X470 B450 chipset]
USB 3.0/3.1 Drivers (original and modded)
(If you have an ASUS X570 motherboard, you may need to use a PS2 keyboard or a USB expansion card)
While installing windows 7, some of the USB ports on the back are not available.
After completing the installation of Windows 7, install “AMD_1.0.0.13_MOD_Win7” USB drivers.
And then all USB ports will be available for use.
I’m sorry if it doesn’t work
EDIT:The June BIOS update may have fixed some minor bugs related to CPU USB controller on ASUS motherboards. Please try the BIOS update first.
I managed to install Windows 7 x64.
Motherboard: MSI B450 Mortar Max
Processor: Ryzen 5 3400g
Background: Silicon Power SP256GBP34A80M28 M.2 NVME
I tried 8-10 pieces Win 7.
IMPORTANT What program has been integrated with the Driver and Hotfix.
Asus’s EZ program is impeccable.
Everything is factory in it.
The ISO preparation must be selected from the options.
It is also important to check the compatibility and NVME support.
The finished ISO writing is a PEN device with Rufus program.
GPT / UEFI is important.
BIOS: Mixed CSM-UEFI startup.
I was USB mouse and NVME support from the beginning of the installation.
However, after the installer restart, there was a blue dead, but after restart the installation went throughout.
After installing missing drivers, everything worked.
Video Drivers: Radeon-Icafe-20.4.2-Win7-64bit_apu_mod.
In short so many.
