Worth installing RST into a VHD self bootable image??

Hi,

I have Windows 7 Pro 64 as my main installation but I installed Windows 10 into a VHD file and set the system to recognize as an stand alone option booting from that VHD file. Since its a VHD would installing RST drivers matter? Or does Windows 7’s RST drivers loaded at all?

Thanks

Probably not.

No Windows OS has an in-box Intel RST driver, which supports any Intel SATA AHCI Controller. It is the generic MS AHCI driver, which will be used.
