Intel Standard Manageability on Dell 7010. Is full vPro possible through Bios mod ?

Greetings,

I recently bought a used Dell Optiplex 7010 i5-3470 SFF specifically to take advantage of vPro KVM functionality.
To my dismay, I later discovered that, although I can access MEBx, I only have "Intel Standard Manageability" that allows web remote power up/down and boot from CD/DVD control from the 16992 IP port.

In the last few days, I started reading threads on this forum.

Q: is it possible to flash a full vPro IME instead of this castrated "Intel Standard Manageability" ?

Q: How can I know if I have a 1.5MB Consumer or 5MB Corporate system ?

This is what MEInfo yields:

Thank you very, very much !

Check with FPT the size of the flash chips.

You have 5MB firmware as seen from the MEInfo output. Check if the motherboard has a ME_Service or similar jumper (it should based on previous Dell experience). Set it as instructed at the manual and then perform a ME region dump by using Flash Programming Tool with the command “fptw -d me.bin -me”. Compress and attach the resulting me.bin file here.

Thank you so much plutomaniac for all the help you provide !

As I also have a Dell 7010 with on board jumper (in a SFF), I used the file ME_7010_AMT you provided blackpac in this thread :
Optiplex 7010 and VPro/AMT/ME (2)

Success ! I now have KVM functionality !

Do you think I could have later problems using as is the file you generated for blackpac from his SPI dump ?
I have Bios A24, he had A21. Things seem to work correctly, but you are the expert !

Again, verrrry appreciated !

The file I had uploaded must have been clean and configured for 7010 so you’re good to go.
