You’re welcome! So happy we got it fixed finally, I thought we might never win!
Backup with programmer, sorry I thought you had a programmer now? If not, it’s OK
You can backup with FPT, put on FDO Jumper, then run following from DOS
FPT.exe -d backupbios.bin
Then remove FDO jumper, now you have working BIOS backup (That includes working ME region too)!
Thank you so much
A backup has been made
Are there things that can be done?
You’re welcome! It’s great you have backup now!
Save that someplace you wont forget and make a copy too, and make sure you know that’s the good working BIOS vs all the others we’ve messed with these past few days (Or toss those out)
What do you mean “Things that can be done”?
I do not know how to thank you
You are a very successful person in your work
If I had been learning for more than a year, I would have had this problem
The problem has been posted on many forums
In locations - hp
I did not find healing solutions
You are a very great man, O LORD, always forward
Greetings to you
can I know where are you from
I mean, is there anything that can be done
You’re very welcome, and thank you for all the appreciation and kindness!
I did see what you mean, many people looking for how to fix and rarely someone finds answer, usually suggest new motherboard even by HP forums! That’s lazy
Appreciate all your support, thanks and come in any time with issues, maybe someone here can help you to fix!
Good evening, Professor
I hope you are fine
I would like to tell you that the device has a big problem and I do not know what to do
1- The Internet ID disappeared and turned into 00000000000
2 - Some of the eggs BOIS
And I ended up with the same thing because the device is not opening a final data
When the device is turned on, it works for 5 seconds, then separates, and restarts again
It then works for 10 seconds and then increases the sound of the cooling fans very dramatically without showing any data on the screen black screen
I do not know what to do now
I hope you help
I forgot to remind you that I have CMOS CMOS then the device does not show any datata on the final screen and I try other RAM and nothing shows on the screen
#2 BIOS eggs? And your last post, “Scanned Kimus, Hasha, Ramat”? None of that makes any sense to me, sorry.
All the fan sound and behavior you mentioned means ME is messed up again, working ME that you had success with is on page #8 (Set ME Jumper to program, then remove and reset ME state via FPTw.exe -greset, or power cycle method as before)
As for your LAN MAC ID, program back in your last good working BIOS Backup, and then stop messing with the BIOS, you had it working good!
The device was working very well to stop the Internet
1. The Internet ID disappeared and turned into 00000000000
2 - Some settings are not shown in BOIS
I have not played anything since the last time we talked
All this happened on his own
I do not know why this happened
The problem now is that the device does not open any data
OK, good, I thought maybe you were still messing around with BIOS .
Sounds like it corrupted on you, you’ll have to reflash BIOS (See post #86 on page 6 for first FPT command to flash BIOS and file to use) and then ME (top of page #8 for the file and command, ME Jumper must be set, run -grest command after or power drain method)
After downloading the files what do I do
The device does not open any data on the screen
Black screen
Black screen, nothing on monitor? How did you take the BIOS images above and how do you know LAN ID is gone? If clear CMOS does not bring screen back, it may be dead video card.
At first the Internet stopped
You have entered the BOIS settings
She met the pictures of BOIS
Then I checked the CMOS
Then, no data appears on the screen
When the device is turned on it works for 5 seconds and then closes completely
Then the operation returns again for 10 seconds and then rises in the sound of the cooling fans
Please help me solve this problem
Can you boot to DOS? If not, put on ME Jumper and try again to boot to DOS. If you can boot to DOS, do all I mentioned from DOS, flash BIOS first, then reboot to DOS and flash ME and before reboot again issue the -grest FPT command.
good morning
After unpacking all parts of the device and re - install them again
The device works but stands on this screen
I can not go ahead and try many times
Turn it on and off but stand on this screen
Use F9, boot to DOS and do as we mentioned.
The keyboard does not respond
I do not know what to do
The device does not store BIOS settings
Keep on this screen and do not go ahead
I left him for a full hour without any progress
After pressing F1 remains so
With many attempts to open and close the button of the paw
Without any success, when pressing F9, the screen stands blank
Did you check CMOS battery voltage (Off the board) with multi meter yet? If not, do that now.
Then remove main battery too, remove wall power plug from back of laptop, and remove CMOS battery. Then press and hold power on button for 1+ minute to drain any remaining power.
Short Clear CMOS pins If you see those, then put all back. Looks like it’s set to boot to Intel PXE instead of defaults, full clear of CMOS should resolve that.
