Hi my dear friend. Just to tell you I’ve upgraded my previous hw config to X99 (Rampage V Extreme).
I tried UBU but the Intel Lan UEFI Rom, which is updated well, doesn’t make the menu appear on uefi bios.
It’s the same issue I found on old Maximus VI Extreme (Z87) when updating Intel LAN.
The Realtek uefi/undi is working fine, but the Intel doesn’t.
Could you please fix this ? Thanks in advance.

This is a collection of Skylake vBIOS (9.0.1009 - 9.0.1028) & GOP (9.0.1019 - 9.0.1034) modules.
Note: 9.0.1015_nr2 is slightly different. Generally, there are no duplicates. If something has _nr* after the name, it’s slightly different.

Are you sure about this microcode version? I was integrate it to Asus Z170-A v0901 with modified UBU v1.37 (UEFITool 0.21.0.1 + microcode batch) and diagnostic tools shows 39h only. Default microcode was 33h.

Asus Z170-A BIOS v0901…Microcode is rev.34
Skylake microcode will be reported version -1 because of a bug.

Can be more? Since my motherboard Asus Z87-Plus OROM v0.1.04 and EFI v0.0.07 Intel LAN works without problems.

Why this "-1" offset is not implemented in GenSKL batch file?
Because I show the real version microcode and not misleading.

At first time, I was update EFI OROM IRST, EFI GOP and LAN UNDI and save as CAP module, but EZ flash 3 returns: "Selected file is not a proper BIOS!". It seems, that UBU v1.37 isn’t fully compatible with latest Asus EFI implementation or Asus not follow all EFI specification.
Finally, I was copy UEFITool 0.21.0.1 to working folder, update GenSKL.bat and try it again and save as BIN.

Therefore, I use to flash my EEPROM programmer, because EZ Flash 3 reports same error. Maybe my modification is not safe. I'm not expert...

The problem, I have a Rampage V Extreme (X99) AMI APTIO V bios. On UBU it doesn’t allow me to use OROM 0.1.0.4 and/or EFI 0.0.07.
It uses a different rom which doesn’t properly work as I can’t see the "Intel Ethernet" menu under UEFI BIOS, while if I leave the original
bios rom, it works.
Could you help me please ?

Hi again. I’ve solved my problem manually adding the 0.0.0.7 UEFI/UNDI LAN driver with Coderush’s UefiTool.
Now everything is working like a charm.

In UBU 1.37 there is a copy of drvver.exe at \Modules\Lan\EFI. Not sure whether it should be there.

At the Skylake vBIOS collection I sent you, check the GOP 9.0.1019. It has a different version header. Drvver detects it as v9.0.9 which is wrong. It should be 9.0.1019. Since everything after it works as expected, you may need to add special support for that version in some way.

I understood what the problem is. Instead, version 0.0.07 installed version 6.9.cc. I’ll have to think about how to fix it.

ASUS has just released today BIOS v1901 for Sabertoothx99.
I have replaced v1801 via flash back procedure (button + Renamed BIOS file on USB 2.0) without any problem.
This new BIOS v1901 works fine.
For testing, I have modded v1901 with UBU 1.37, and tried to flash it.
Seems Flashback procedure does not recognize the file structure: when the procedure starts the blue led flashes intermittently as it does, but only after one or 2 seconds later the blue led remains permanently lighted.
Do you think it is normal ?
