Thanks! What’s the folder for Intel Boot Agent? Thanks!
Hello,
I am using the latest ubu tool to update my AMD AMI uefi bios which seems to work nicely…
but how can I verify this updated bios is active and got not restored with the old backup bios?
The point is after flashing the new bios my system is booting twice (once) hence my concern…
I see no indication which bios I have really active since bios version/date is unchanged after the update.
Any way to check this? TIA

Intel RSTe 5.2.0.1029 sSATA OROM & EFI Driver + SATA EFI Driver
The 5.2.0.1029 SATA OROM was first Posted by javanse >Here<
EDIT: I have included the SATA OROM in the archive, because the file posted by javanse seems corrupt?
IRSTe_5.2.0.1029.zip (289 KB)
is there a way to add these to ubu so it adds them to the list of available modules?
EDIT by Fernando: Quoting code corrected
I don’t know how to add the to the list, perhaps SoniX will answer that.If you just want to update a BIOS with these files, you could replace the old files in \IRST\5_x naming them accordingly.
EDIT: Just tested, and replacing the old files doesn’t seem to work, use UEFITool and replace body.
I left that to UBU - Auto mode! otherwise no idea. my uefi interface shows no version numbers and I don’t use raid!
Aida? I need an external tool to verify the active bios modules?
Neither the “UEFI BIOS Updater” nor any other BIOS tool can look into the SP1 BIOS region, which is inside the BIOS chip of your specific computer.
So if a user is unsure, whether a recently flashed modded BIOS is definitively in use by his machine, he has to check it another way (e.g. by checking the Intel RAID Utility version via CTRL+I).
Hmm, crossed my mind - save bios to file with QFlash (in my case) and then read it with ubu perhaps? that should work too?

I do UBU since quite a while and it seemingly works (or not) - I want to clarify the situation. UBU is just Intel playground?

I seem to be getting an error importing the Intel RST RAID 15.8.0.3109.ffs. “parseSection: PE32 image with invalid DOS signature”
But the 8086-2822 Intel RST RAID 15.8.0.3109.bin seems just fine. got these from your “stuff” archive
The OROM updated no prob, but the EFI ISRT did not!?!
@f3bandit
The files in that archive are ffs files, you need to remove the header first, or you can get them in efi format here
