ASRock H81 Pro BTC R2.0: How to made successful mod for Broadwell?

I think it’s probably possible, but only if someone can complete the entire mod which @DeathBringer mentioned, I cannot figure it all out nor how to do properly instead of module swapping.

@Lost_N_BIOS if you know how to do the mod now, I have all the hardware required to test it. the pinout of the cpu might be have to be modded as well, i think

@_haru - sorry, I don’t know still, due to all mentioned at #55 - that method would have failed anyway I have no doubt, even if it could be completed simply.

my z87 use z97 bios success run

only change me
me version 9.1.0.1015

bro u know about mrc?
use z87 bios debug code is 55
about memory so i think if change all about memory init z87 can use 5775c

Hi,

I once tried asus z97 broadwell firmware with my z87deluxe buildin windows tool and it flashed it. Pc booted etc, but pcie was stuck at 100.89mhz I think.

i managed to flash back to old ime fw and pcie was unstuck again, this was with 4770k.

That said if I had a 5775c could this mean it would work as well and that pcie glitch wouldn’t be affected?
