Hi guys,

TL; DR @dragonsun252 is there any way to repost the patched BIOS .cap file 4001 for x99e-ws? I can’t seem to download it.

I also have an x99e-ws board and I’m trying to setup opencore. I have a 5960x and a Radeon VII card in there, the rest is standard. I have the MSR unlock on my current bios but don’t have the NVRAM whitelist.

I’m coming from Mojave 10.14.6 on Clover - this is my first opencore install. I couldn’t get Catalina on clover.

Does anyone have an EFI for my setup or similar I can use? I’m downloading the latest kexts but it would be nice to have a reference to look at, especially for any CPU patches - I don’t even know what I need this time.

Thanks so much for this. I did the patch to x99e-ws.cap to add Nvram unlock to my previous custom 4001 build bios. I was able to load the bios fine with flashback (I updated the .cap header as well, though in the GUI it said it was invalid).

I’ll try the install tonight- hope it goes well! I find the 5960x kernel patches to be hit or miss, so I’ll let you guys know what works.
