So I’ve been pulling my hair out trying to flash the older non-K bios on a used Asus Z170M-Plus board I bought that had a 3301 BIOS in it. I first got the 368 FPT error so I used afuwin and afudos with the /GAN command and got the boot loop after the flash. Ok so I tried fixing fpt by doing this guide [GUIDE] Grub Fix Intel FPT Error 280 or 368 - BIOS Lock Asus/Other Mod BIOS Flash and it works it can flash it now but I still get the bootloop. Only way to get out of it is to flash with a bios 3xxx not below. While the non-K bios is labeled 8001 as such its probably based on a much earlier BIOS. Any help would be appreciated. Flash whatever BIOS you can from 2015-2016 via normal method / EZ flash, then once done, flash that 8001 via EZ Flash. AFU may have broke your BIOS, neither AFU nor FPT is used for this process
