CPU Microcode 80000013 update?

what is the next step?

USB Flashback that BIOS, then do whatever the guides you linked mentioned (installing that efi file I think) I’ve never done what you’re doing, so I can’t really help directly, I only know how to mod BIOS.

if I install the efi files now comes at the boot always wrong cpu

Then you may have wrong efi file? IS that one posted where they discussed your same or similar CPU or CPUID? Did you try this after using the BIOS I posted above at #16
Have you read all that thread yet? Those pages are VERY early in the thread, and I know last time I did this mod for someone else it was using a method much later in the thread and did not involve removing ucodes or using efi files.
So, that may be the early method, and different better method was found out later, at least that is what i think I remember about doing this mod for a few other people. But, it maybe just different for different series motherboards too, and that’s why i remember doing a much different edit?

have already tried a lot of files but always the same … I do not see right through there anymore :frowning:

Can you see the MultiCore Enhancement setting in your BIOS or not? You may have best luck, with old PRE v13 microcode (in there, or removed), with old BIOS and MCE setting made visible.
You may also need to use old ME FW, but which version I do not know.

MultiCore Enhancement is present

in the picture is just as a cpu as I have only that he is already on :frowning:
the two picture is my cpu

I just found something out which I do not care about!
according to this page http://www.cpu-world.com/cgi-bin/CPUID.p…lter&STEPPING=1 my cpu has an id of an 8 core?

??

???

is there a possibility to fit the microcode on? as it stands on this pdf inside?https://newsroom.intel.com/wp-content/up…te-guidance.pdf

@wirkstoff - what are you wanting me to do with microcode exactly? I can put any microcode you want, just tell me what CPUID and what microcode revision you want.
And link me to the BIOS you want edited, or upload a copy etc

@wirkstoff - Here is BIOS with >> cpu406F1_platEF_ver0B00002A_2018-01-19_PRD_06390BF1

and this microcode is now registered exactly for my xeon cpu?

i have a xeon E5V3 cpu @hesswell-e!? for this cpu is not a microcode aviable

but the E5V4 is with microcode or you’ve done me now

according to intel tapelle my cpu should be exactly this

M1E5-2670 v30x306F22.3 / DDR4 2133 / 9.6120123021,2,3,7

Could you make me a bios times where things are unlocked? With amibcps you can make such changes?

I have no idea? I only did what you asked me to do. You need to give me the S-Spec or CPUID for you chip if you don’t know what microcode you need changed.
Sorry, nothing you say makes sense to me in regards to this. For changing microcode, I need to know exact CPU model, it’s CPUID, or it’s S-Spec so I can lookup the CPUID and change the correct microcode CPUID (To whatever version you want)
If you don’t know any of that, and can’t look at the IHS to get S-Spec, send me CPU-z dump.txt

The BIOS above only contains the exact change you asked me to do, that is why I said "Be specific, what do you want"

Yes, I can unlock BIOS, but lets sort this out first as your very confusing and we’ve been at this same thing for days/weeks now and still and same confused point.

I want to drive my cpu with another id + microcode z.b. that my cpu can deal with sandybridge properties or something like that, so I thought that you just once make the microcode for 406 purely what my cpu could work with

that with the unlock menus in the bios I can even but if ic hdas bios save he always says something with signum and can not flashen it

You can only use microcode for your actual CPU

I can’t understand your second sentence at all, please explain that differently. Sounds like you mad mod BIOS but unsigned, so you can’t flash it?
If yes, open stock cap BIOS in UEFITool, extract body from capsule. Modify that. Then open stock cap BIOS in hex editor, in second tab, open your mod BIOS body.
On stock cap BIOS, go to 800h location, this is end of the capsule. Go to mod BIOS body, select all, copy, then go back to stock cap BIOS at 800h location, paste mod BIOS body, then save as USB Flashback name.cap and that is signed BIOS you can then flash with USB Flashback.

I have a cpu running with 306f1 but loud data on the internet, it is a 306f2 how do I get the 306f2 on this cpu?

if I flash the bios then he has 306f1 again

cpuz.txt (402 KB)

could you remove all locks in my bios? that would be nice

I can get xcpm working with using FakeCPUID 0x040652, but only using this reboot fix:

reboot fix Sierra © Pike R. Alpha
Find: VUiJ5UFXQVZBVUFUU1BBidZBifdIiftFhf8PhA==
Replace: w5CJ5UFXQVZBVUFUU1BBidZBifdIiftFhf8PhA==

If I don’t have reboot fix, the boot is just stuck on:
OsxAptioFixDrv: Starting overrides for System\Library\CoreServices\boot.efi
Using reloc block: yes, hibernate wake: no
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I have Asus X99-A patched using UEFIPatch.
