Yes, that is my only guess why this can’t work, not all boards are able to use unlocked ME/Bclk overclock etc.
This had nothing to do with CPU multipliers though. We may need to find correct microcode version and maybe newer ME for that CPU, I am not sure, you will need to research and see what others did to add full compatibility

@pipes80 If you are using BIOS from post #302, that is a problem, should not be duplicated so many CPU microcodes (Should be zero duplicates). This means usually incorrect cbrom used
For the Xeon microcode and image, did you insert all the other 1067A platforms? For current 2015 1067A I insert 44 which you mentioned (Covering 2,6) and B1 which covers (0,4,5,7)
only insert platforma 44 for 1067a, but i have remake the bios and work fine
Hello Fernando, I have the Asus P5KC v1.03 card. At this board I installed xeon 5470. My bios is without AHCI support but after I searched google I found some bios that gives me this ahci support but they still get type errors

I use bios [1203 ahci] or [1303 ahci with support for SLIC v2.0]. Please look a little over these files can find the error and fix it. check if microcodes are the last ones added. I need ahci support because I use …OSX’’ hackintosh. P.S. I have an ASMedia 106x card but I still can not support ahci for hackintosh even if I installed a ssd in it. thank you. Other cpu woks fine like Q6600.

@juanete - Yes, this can be done, but what microcode exactly do you need changed over, or updated? I do not need donor BIOS, only what BIOS you want edited, and tell me which microcode CPUID you want updated/changed to what version (or latest version)

yes i remember that i use the latest me firmware and you did the modify with the me firmware to unlock the overcloking but with that firmware unlocked with overcloking wont boot the laptop on the page 20 we towlk about me frimware but with this unlock MSR 194 i dont remember if you make it what is that?thank you
