I purchased a refurbished Dell OptiPlex 7060 Micro last week. I saw the sticker with “3” printed on it, which means Intel AMT is disabled as per the article Dell Support.
I tried enabling and disabling MEBx hotkey option in UEFI, pressing Ctrl + P (F12 also) multiple times during boot. Still I am not able to enable it. I also tried booting with CMOS clear jumper removed in hope that it may enable Intel AMT.
I shared the output of MEInfo (in verbose mode) with ChatGPT. ChatGPT told me that Intel AMT might have been disabled at hardware level via fuses and there is nothing left to be done.
I have updated UEFI to 1.32.0 from 1.2.17 but it was of no use. After the update, Manageability option is no longer available in UEFI. I have uploaded the output of MEInfo tool before and after the update. Can someone please guide me to enable Intel AMT? Thanks in advance.
Specs in brief:
Intel Core i7 8700, 8 GB DDR4 RAM, Intel Q370 chipset, Samsung 970 Evo 256 GB SSD and Seagate Barracude 2 TB HDD.
