start for half a second = vcore supplied != instant shutdown because of short circuit. I will report about long time capabilities when that damn SPI finally arrives. 
Talking of: On Asrock Z270 Gaming K6 I do not manage to get past IME shutdown problem, even when with HDA mod. I tried both integrated flasher and afudos.
You can share the bios mod, I am also using the mainbroad Asrock H110 BTC pro, thanks !

Gigabyte Q-flash has some updating restrictions, better use FPT or AFU. There are no any locks on Gigabyte so no problems with these tools.

I have a plan 9900k on z170 with h/t.
2202 bios + coffeetime and I got New mod bios.
But "init 16cpus" did not patched.
Is it ok? It will works?

You flashed only bios region, you also need rewrite ME and FD to i7 starts. Look for info about unlocks in previous posts.

Yes, it should work in general, but I recommend to remake mod with latest CoffeeTime version.

Hi everyone, i’m using mainboard Asus B250f gaming and Cpu G3930. I just wanna to use G5400 or I3 8100, but i read this thread is so hard to try. This way is for all mobo, isn’t it? Rechecked with Gaming K6 and also tried FPT as afudos could not possibly work anyway. Main problem was the HDA mod though, I can not even dump UEFI. Probably the small contacts on ALC1220, though I left impressions in both of them. Has anyone yet suceeded unlocking descriptor on an ALC 1xxx board?
I tried an Asrock B150M Pro4S which much larger ALC 888 package next and succeeded after a couple of tries. Boot and loads up to 4 threads of Prime95 work fine, though the system freezes if I make real use of the 9900K. Don’t know whether this is due to UEFI problems or general capability of this board. (And don’t know either when/whether I will invest time into that issue.)

I want to ask you how to MOD this bios for I3-8300 CPU. When I connect an integrated graphic card, HDMI slot, it doesn’t work (black screen at startup and reboot). Computer works only with ext graphic card (AMD Graphics).

Sorry for my question: I have been created mod bios from "Easy automated Mod tool’s Revlaay" ([TOOL] Easy automated Mod tool for Coffee Lake bios)
Every thing will be done. So could i use UBU to update this new bios to run coffeelake? And another question is i wanna run G5400 on my mobo Giga Z170x gaming 5, or asus B250f gaming, but revlaay say: this cpu must be isolate 2 pin, is it right? I’m newbie, it so hard to try modding software and more modding hardware

Check your ME version on both boards with previously attached tool, it takes 1 min.
