[Guide] Integration of Intels AHCI/RAID drivers into a WinXP/W2k3/W2k CD

@qq2348227 :
Welcome to the Win-RAID Forum!

Did you follow my guide (= start post of this thread)? If yes, don’t press F6 when prompted!
The “7B” error message indicates the integration of a wrong driver, the “A5” indicates a wrong ASCI support setting.
Did you use a clean (= untouched) XP as source?
Which driver did you integrate and which one of the listed Intel SATA AHCI Controllers did you highlight?

Regards
Dieter (alias Fernando)

@qq2348227 :
Which is your request/problem?
Is the used source ISO file untouched (nothing integrated)?
Did you integrate the “Universal 32bit Intel RST driver v11.2.0.1006 mod+signed by me”?
What happens, when you try to get XP installed?

virgin microsoft msnd chinese edition winxp with sp3 iso
use nLite soft
Integrated your registration x86 driver
this:
c) For all users with an Intel AHCI/RAID system from ESB2 or ICH7R/M up (incl. X79, X99 and 8-/9-/100-/200-Series Chipsets):
For all these users, who want to get XP (32bit) installed in AHCI or RAID mode, I recommend to download and integrate this modified v11.2 RST driver (the regular Intel RSTe driverpacks will not work for all users):
>Universal 32bit Intel RST textmode driver v11.2.0.1006 mod+signed by Fernando (latest variant)< (>MIRROR<)

nLite soft select A282 F6 AHCI driver
build a new iso
use this iso boot pc
press f7
then
7b error blue screen

thank you

dear Fernando
if you have b250 chipset machine , test your fix driver install xp

Did you boot of a CD or off an USB Flash Drive?

The 7B bluescreen indicates the integration of a not matching driver or the choice of a not matching Intel SATA Controller model while doing the integration.
Are you sure, that you didn’t make a mistake at that point?

I don’t have a system with an Intel 200-Series chipset, but I have successfully tested the XP installation with my Intel Z170 chipset system.

usb-cdrom boot
plug intel b250 usb 2.0 port or nec usb 3.0/20.0 card
all error 7b blue screen
usb -cdrom hardware:zm-ve200 or ve200 se ,ve300,ve400,iodd 2541

If you are in China, I’ll send you a iodd 2541
Because the world has you and it’s wonderful
You are great, admiring you

@qq2348227 :
Since the Windows XP Setup doesn’t support the USB Controllers of modern PC systems, you have to boot off an Optical Drive (CD/DVD).
Question: Does the i386 directory of your XP source contain a file named WINNT.SIF? If yes, it is not an original XP image.
Unfortunately I live far away from China. So I can only try to help you this way.

vigin msdn xp chinese vl edition with sp3 no WINNT.SIF file
only UNATTEND.TXT file
fixed
i386 folds have txtsetup.sif
thanks you

Download a English XP immediately
test

thank you very much

give up

not support b250 chipset

for install xp

Wait for good news

go to sleep

Good luck and good night!

Yes, provided, that your on-board Intel SATA Controller is running in AHCI mode.

HI,

I have successfully install windows XP , but may i know how to get the missing driver such as network card audio PCI memory controller universal serial bus video controller standard floopy disk controller ? since asus website doesn’t have win XP driver . TQ @fernando

Hi Fernando i has the same problem that has "yeakyau". I sucessfully install xp in my PC with motherboard Asus Z97-P. Now for Network i installed a driver for XP for realtek card that is inside the moderboard and it is working. I am missing drivers for PCI cards and some USB controllers.

Can you help us?.

Thanks Fernando

@yeakyau :
Unfortunately I cannot help you regarding XP drivers for other devices.
My advice: Check the HardwareIDs of the related devices and do a Google search for matching XP drivers.

Greetings, I would appreciate some help.
I’m confused about where to find what S-ATA controller my system has (Z97 chipset, Asus Z97-m plus board) and do you have xp version for it?
I would like to dual boot win10 and xp32bit and because I already have win XP installed (IDE) on a separate drive, could I update driver in device manager in XP ?
