You have to boot to USB/DOS first, then you can say that method does not work for you
So you never were able to attempt it, this is totally different than trying to backup or flash and it failing (like you said initially)
Use Win98 SE instead of Freedos then to make USB Flash drive. BIOS should be set to legacy mode (Secure boot disabled, BIOS password removed) also, then boot to MBR initialized FAT32 thumb drive.
You can also move USB drive to first in boot area of the BIOS. Sounds like you just do not know how to boot to USB is the issue, not that this method does not work for you.
Yes, will be 100% easier once you have programmer and figure out how to use that (we have guide)
Then you will just directly program in unlocked BIOS, after you dump BIOS and send to me so I can edit to unlock and send back.
Then you can change all this directly in the BIOS, and will see the same outcome (no change to what you’re looking at, 2GB will remain, since you already changed this to 512MB and it did not change)
Hello everyone.
@Lost_N_BIOS Sorry to bother you. I have an extremely similar problem. Can I comment it here or should I open a new tread?
Thank you all.
