Help with BIOS Installation on Old Toshiba Satellite L650 (No OS Installed)

Hi everyone,

I have an old Toshiba Satellite L650, and I’m trying to update the BIOS. I found the BIOS for my Toshiba Satellite L650 from a thread discussing a modded version that unlocks menus and adds CPU support: Toshiba Satellite L650 BIOS Mod. However, I’m not sure how to install it. The usual methods seem unclear, especially since my laptop doesn’t have Windows installed. Any guidance on installing this BIOS would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, I remember that I updated the bios in but the details are foggy, I remember I did it on windows7 and I remember it was a modded bios, probably the one linked on that topic. I think the way was tricky you need to start the update exe file, locate the bios (probably in a temp directory) and overwrite the files before push the “flash” button.
