Some packs of newer tools (only FWUpdLcl + MEInfo for EFI/Linux64/Win32/64) with a bit older FW’s:

ME_Update_Tools_12.0.95.2495.rar (8.5 MB)

Would these work for updating 11.8 firmware?
THESE??? Guessing wizards now???
If SKU is 10.8 based, these are the ones to use, not 11.x ramdom.
For 11.8.xxxx the latest seem to be these tools, so far:

Hi

These are not files that can be used to update existing ME versions. At least those starting from v12. I’m sure Pluto described this in the thread starter post. They need to be configured for the specific hardware. But don’t ask me how, I’m just sharing the files.
I followed the instructions and it worked.
Anyone tried downloading the latest CSME VEDT (11.0.4.0)?
I’m getting password protected .zip archive and the Linux .tar is in that archive. Not normal. I’ve posted to the intel support link, logging in was a chore, they expired my password.
Intel® Converged Security and Management Engine Version Detection Tool (Intel® CSMEVDT)
Anyone have the new tool?
Nonsense, perfectly extracted with several tools.
EDIT: The Windows package is indeed, not the LINUX tar, my mistake sorry.
As far as I know, there is no good version of it, just this one. Somebody has done something wrong. They will replace the current zip one day.
The code is 12345678
Awesome!
What can you know about this? I do not think it is normal to have a password protected file.
Intel was in no hurry to publish it. The page was updated on 17 December and the file is dated 25 June.
I don’t know anything about the policy that Intel uses in its publications.
As a simple user, I tried to guess some common passwords and on the 3rd try I succeeded.
I immediately thought of making an account at winraid.level1techs.com and sharing the information since in the past I have been helped by others here and by the administrator with what it offers.
That’s often because the exploits patched are under NDA - so a 6 month delay for them to get ducks in a row is normal.
Hello,
I am trying to update/flash the Intel ME firmware on my Lenovo ThinkStation P350, but I keep encountering the following error messages:
Error 364: Update to incompatible H/LP SKU image.
Error 509: The internal structure of the Update Image is corrupted.
Error 436: PMC partition is not in the Update Image.
Currently, my system is running Intel ME version 15.0.47.2473, which I installed using Lenovo’s official firmware update tool. I downloaded the tool from this link: 15.0.47.2473_corporate.exe - https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/thinkcentre_drivers/15.0.47.2473_corporate.exe
To attempt the update, I replaced the firmware .bin
file within Lenovo’s update tool package with various 15.0.50.2633 versions provided on the Win-Raid forum. Unfortunately, every attempt to flash resulted in the errors mentioned above.
I will also include my current .bin
file (dumped from my system) as an attachment for better analysis and understanding.
Could someone please help me figure out the correct procedure or provide guidance on:
Thank you in advance for your help!
