Intel MEI v11.7.0.1027 for Corporate systems Drivers & Software

Updated first post.

I have a Asus Maximus Z270 Apex board. The last official Bios from Mar/17 had Me 11.6.0.1126 in it.I later did a me flash of me ver 11.6.29.3287 and all went fine.On the Asus Rog forum they released a Beta Bios this past week with a hyper thread fix that has me ver 11.7.0.1229 CON_H_D0 .I used the UBU Tool to check it and mod the new beta bios has me ver 11.7.0.1229 in it.I flashed the new modded beta bios and all went fine.Only thing was the me version in the bios is still on the one I flashed before ver 11.6.0.3287.Anyone have any idea why the me ver from the beta bios did not update.

@ NIK1:

Version Control Number (VCN)

ME Analyzer shows VCN 178…

How I can flash motherboards with socket 2066 and ME version 11.10? Will be FPT for 2066?

I have a Lenovo M800 Desktop PC i5-6400

i need full MEI/AMT software Package.

Intel ME System Tools v11.6 r15

Hallo,

thx for your thread - it is very interesting for me as beginner.

My Prob is, that my Acer Notebook V5-473g don’t wake up behind sleep under Win10.

After searching the web i came up with deactivate the “Intel management engine interface”. All is fine but this was not the solution i wish. Then I read somewhere (Kaijun/Acer-V5-573G-Hackintosh) that it could be solved with changing the Intel ME firmware.

After reading some text passages in your thread iI have collect some Info’s with recommended tools like:

Intel ME System Tools v9.5 r3

I put a new mb in my nephews pc yesterday a MSI Z270 GAMING M3 and tossed the Asus BM250 board .In the bios it shows ME ver 11.6.1.1142…What version should I flash for a update .Also what is the intel software guard extensions SGX platform drivers do.

@ ReinRalle:

Make sure you have the latest v11.0 INF/MEI-Only driver installed from the first post.

Hi plutomaniac,

thank you for your hint.

What I found their is this: “Intel MEI Driver v11.0.6.1194 MEI-Only Installer”, correct?

Correct

plutomaniac: thx for your confirmation. All is running as I expected .

The only thing, that i don’t understand is:

After burn firmware, reboot and installing “Intel MEI Driver v11.0.6.1194 MEI-Only Installer” my “driver manager” under Win10 shows me for the “Intel(R) Management Engine Interface” a version “11.0.5.1189”. Is this a “fall back” and then: why?

Read the first post carefully

Is this the key sentences: A newer Drivers & Software package has newer Software but the actual MEI driver may still be an older version? I think so…mea culpa…my initial problem seems to be solved .

Many thx und a nice evening from Germany…

Is there any information about the difference between fw 11.6 and 11.7? Is that even something a user would notice? (like does anyone even know what MEI does on a system with non-corporate chipset with all those remote access stuff and other features?)

Hi,

Was wondering if any of the gurus here know how to transplant the ME Region from an OEM bios ver 3002 lets say onto the same OEM bios ver 902?

For example I used UEFITool to save the "ME Region" using "Extract as is" from my 3002 bios and then used "Replace as is" of the "Me Region" of the 902 bios
transplanting that 3002 ME region. Saved the file with out error.

Will that work??

Furthermore lets say I want to include a newer ME from the ME repository into my modded bios file for sharing how would I do that? Suppose I would have to use the FIT tool?

Thanks.

If they’re both from the same motherboard model, then yes. Make sure the region size is the same, otherwise manually append padding.
