Oh, I recommend a system monitoring software aida64 to you. You can download the portable ZIP package version on its website.
https://www.aida64.com/
According to the options in the picture, you can see the ME firmware version you want to know
Intel CSME 14.0 Consumer PCH-LP A Firmware v14.0.31.1120
Intel CSME 14.0 Corporate PCH-LP A Firmware v14.0.31.1120
Intel PMC CMP PCH-LP A Firmware v140.1.01.1008

Hi guys,
Got an Asus Z270-WS which I coffeelake modded last year and now trying to reset to stock by upgrading bios to stock newer version firmware and using appropriate cpu for the motherboard. Problem was that after bios flash via bios the ME version was still 11.7. So I used CSME Tools to manually flash to latest ME version available and that worked. MeInfo and HWinfo showing 11.8 ME firmware but according to Meinfo LMS version says 11.7?? Is that an issue? Whats LMS?
Thanks
LMS is the abbreviation for Local Manageability Service and part of the Intel ME Drivers & Software Sets. For details please read >this<.
Here are the properties of the tool LMS.exe as part of the "Intel MEI Drivers & Software Consumer v11.7.0.1069", which is offered within the start post of this thread (Chapter A1):

Hello.
I found interesting ME firmware in imac 19,1 or imac 2019 model that firmware is around 1MB not 1.5 or 5mb, the board that is using is intel Q370 reported by CPU-z and aida64
I have attacked copy of it extracted, if you wanna look.

Hi Gents,
I recently ran into the infamous me fw update failed on an Asus Zenbook Pro N501VW.
I read the first post with all the instructions and attempted to check the version of ME used by this laptop based on the chipset. It looks like it is using Version V11.0.0.1169.
However, this information was not obtainable using the tools in this post. I just had to do some digging into the Chipset and Drivers based on Asus.
I assume that ME is completely corrupted. Iāve attempted to re-flash the BIOS but Iāve now come to know that ME updates are a total different beast and are not reversible through BIOS Update/Downgrade.
Additionally -
Because the system cannot recognize the ME Version it will not let me install any accurate version of ME.
What can I do in this situation? Needless to say, this laptop is way out of warranty. But it works fine otherwise.
Thank you!

So far I have flashed in Linux only with identical versions.
I just did on a Z170 board, working fine so far.
thanks ,. v11.8.77.3664 work fine

I think it would be useful if those doing the upgrade would also specify the version of FWUpdate used (eg the version for Windows, Linux, EFI).
I would like to know if anyone has managed the upgrade in Linux remote via ssh. Under the current conditions SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) we can not always get in front of the Linux console!
CSME 11 Tools r30 Linux64 on Ubuntu 19.04 x64 via SSH, no issues.
