They happen, in each antivirus I have used, even in Kaspersky which is my all time favorite. Heuristics are not perfect.
Also you have exclusions in Defender until you receive the updated signatures.

Sadly, after the update, Windows wonât utilize the TPM of my machine, saying, âCanât get TPM informationâ even after a few TPM resets.

@ eray:
What TPM were you using? The one CSME provides or a third party chip embedded in the board? From the CSME side, run MEInfo -verbose and MEManuf -verbose to check for any irregularities/errors. Also, try a Flash Programming Tool âfptw64 -gresetâ to see if it helps. It could also be a BIOS issue. Make sure itâs up to date and restore defaults once before re-adjusting whatever you want there.

ME Analyzer 1.160.0 r212 reports ME firmware 12.0.70 Corporate not in database, and that I should report it.

Hello!
I am certain that my computer uses the TPM feature provided by CSME and Intel, as from my research about INTC TPM.
I tried the command above, TPM resets in the UEFI, multiple reflashes with PTT enabled in FIT, re-installing the latest BIOS, and even re-keying meant for ME firmware 11, but to no avail. One thing left to do is re-installing Windows because I am on the Insider Dev channel. I feel confident that HP is going to release a newer revision with updated CSME firmware.
Sadly, the current CSME firmware version cannot be downgraded.

I donât know. The firmware is just fine according to MEInfo and MEManuf. It could be Windows, try a stable version. Otherwise, some BIOS issue I assume ("incompatibility", weird HP stuff?).

I guess it was a coincidental issue with Windows. Updating to the newest 20241 build fixed it.

@plutomaniac isnât 2035.15.0.1807 the latest MEI driver instead of v2031.15.0.1743 posted at the start post?
@snixel Well, yeah it is. I was reluctant to link these drivers because I was seeing some strange changes to the INF file and thought maybe they were a test/beta version. But I guess it is some new method by Intel because Iâve seen it at two newer MEI drivers now. Iâve added them to the OP now, thanks to SD of course (Pacman, Fdrsoft) for keeping an eye out for these.
