ME 7 1.5MB v7.1.80.1214.rar (516 KB)

Thank you so much for your quick response.

Actually all of this starts when I try to fix a desktop issue as it cannot be shutdown completely on Windows 10 (IME driver 11 or 9) soft shutdown, the power indicator stays on and I have to push the power button for 5 seconds to cut the power then reboot. I guess it is caused by IME FW outdated (ME 7.1.10.1065) but yesterday I FWUpdate to 7.1.50 and the issue still there. Not quite sure 7.1.80.1214 will fix it or not. Do you happen to know the root cause and help me with the solution?

BTW, there is no issue on Windows 7.

Hello, Iā€™m currently using Intel Firmware 11.8.80.3746 but from what I found on other sites that it has been updated by 2 to 3 different versions and I am currently on a Skylake/Kaby Lake System and all of the other ones Iā€™ve discovered are either Corporate or something else.

@MsDragonFan
Read the #1st post and ull know the reason, seems that u didnt.

well, the problem I had is you canā€™t tell if they are for my PC or not. It only covers version 12 and above in the information not 12 and below.

Really? Well read it again thenā€¦and ull find reference to the right tools to help on that subject, why doesnt people appreciates wots shared with good will and nice work, free as wellā€¦
and u wont find a better guide with so much detailed and guidance as this one.

Iā€™m not that dumb to know it because I looked at the picture and they only go far back as version 12 to 15, not below that in the picture

I seeā€¦u only look at picturesā€¦text is too boring to read, good for u.

Since u didnt provided any info on ur system, and were not here to guess anything, u r invited to learn and read, in order to correctly identify ur ME with the following:

my current system is an Intel Core i5 7400 but my Case is a hp Pavilion 570-p017c

So as u can see, ur using a desktop platform witch is different from laptop and each of this 2 platforms as its on sub-versions.
Now using the guidance in this guide and tools provided u r able to identify ur platform, then ull know wot can or cant be updated.
