Hello, I’m a new user here so please don’t blame me for everything.
So I’ve found an modded Nvidia DCH driver (537.58)
Link: Patched DCH NVIDIA Driver 537.58 for Windows 10 v1607-1709 : NVIDIA : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive
But when trying to install it (testsigning on) I get error, it says “The handle is invalid” (0x6)
I’ve checked the setupapi.dev log and it doesn’t say anything, its just: (Services running) and after NVIDIA container that started…
Cleaning up failed installation
and error 0x0000006
Also, it works on 1607 but not on 1703 or 1709

Look for help on the source and the who made the mod, why are asking here for troubleshooting an outside driver package mod, which we dont know anything about it?

Shouldnt you be googling for the user “TheLightDeveloper” to get/inquiry more info on his package?

Theoretically I should but

  1. I can’t find him
  2. It says 1607-1709
  3. My mods also give me The handle is invalid, and I don’t even know what does it mean, it only works on 1607

Nobody will help?

Try this

I removed the check for Windows build completely
I don’t know about 4000 Series, but 3000 works.

It’s been a long time since I’ve written here but I didn’t really tried it, I’ve fixed the issues by removing some lines from INF file (co installer ones)

Hi Win10_1709_Enjoyer, can you tell me how you installed driver 537.58 with windows 10 1709 ? I can’t install with a MSI GTX 1070 :smiley: Thanks.
