[Request] RTX 3050 Ti Laptop (HP) driver on 1607-1709

After a lot of headache trying to get my GPU to work on Windows 7 and 8.1 (since for some reason nvidia never supported 3000 Ti laptop series GPUs with Windows 7), i decided to give up and move on to messing with older builds of Windows 10.

I have found a patched NVIDIA DCH driver made to work with older Windows 10 builds like 1607 and 1709 here. The problem is that this driver only supports desktop RTX 3000 series GPUs, and not the mobile ones. I have tried to make it work with my RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU but i couldn’t figure it out. I get errors like “The handle is invalid” and other errors like error 43, and even in most cases marking itself for deletion. Since my laptop is HP, it’s supposed to be located in nvhmig.inf, so i tried moving that from the 17134 section to 14393, and resulted in the above errors.

Would anyone here mind helping me get the driver to work with my GPU? It’s a RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU as mentioned above. It would also be nice, because my HP has nearly every driver working on 1709, even my AMD iGPU. Only thing missing being my dedicated GPU.

Hardware ID is PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_25A0&SUBSYS_88DF103C

Specs:

HP Gaming Pavilion 15-ec2000nq

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800H 3.2 GHz

RAM: 16 GB 3200 MHz

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU + AMD integrated graphics

Storage: 1 TB Samsung PM981 NVMe

I stand corrected. After digging through the driver’s files, it turns out that it does support 3000 Ti laptop series. The 3050 Ti (DEV_25A0) appears as well, but my specific model (SUBSYS_88DF103C) is not appearing in the modified inf files. I will try to mess around with it, and if i end up unsuccessful, I will leave another reply.

EDIT: Unfortunately, even after trying to add my specific 3050 Ti GPU hardware id using an already existing 3050 ti as template, i still can’t get it to work. I get error 43. I’m currently on 1607. Any help would be appreciated.
