@X909
I’ve already updated it with latest X99 compatible IRST-ROMS. 18.xxx version doesn’t work.
Ah ok thanks! I see its 14.7 or so… 17.xx does work. But maybe no improvement.
Im also searching for the very last microcode from intel should be 3C but I can not find the file.
For “work” I’m meaning the presence of Intel Rapid Storage menu under advanced options in UEFI bios allowing to create raid arrays or handle hard drive units.
Yeeah, you are totally right. 17.x shows in UEFI but doesnt find the devices!
So, your last UEFI should be the "final" one for this platform, if not a miracle happens and someone finds out how to enable reBAR.
Could you please make a second version with the latest Microcodes? I have found the one for Broadwell-e here:
github.com/platomav/CPUMicrocodes/blob/master/Intel/cpu406F1_platEF_ver0B00003C_2020-11-19_PRD_7A1A7840.bin
Sorry, Im still not allowed to post links.
Wow they seem to make still new microcodes for the Platform.

@Sylar: would you be so nice to make your last UEFI File for the R5E10 again with the 3E Microcode?
New Rampage V Extreme 4101 / Edition 10 2101 modded bios:
- Added latest Haswell-E / Broadwell-E (306F2/406F1) Microcodes (44/3E).
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1…i6r?usp=sharing
I saw the 4101 Bios on ASUS’s website awhile back and now it’s no longer there. The most current one I’m seeing, is 3701, which is what I have. Aside from, I’m guessing the Spectre/Meltdown patch, why would I install 4101, or even this particular BIOS that you’re sharing? I’ve installed BIOS before on my R5E, but I’m honestly a bit hesitant, since 3701 "works". I can be convinced, though if need be.
(I had to remove the link in the quote since I’m a new member)
3701 is a stable bios, 4101 is beta. The Spectre/Meltdown patch is related to CPU Microcodes and Windows hotfix, thus it is not strictly related to a specific bios version,
as anyone could update cpu microcodes for his own. I’ve shared it because someone asked for it, that’s all.
Sorry for offtop and my bad English. Can enyone mod last beta bios 2101 for X99 Deluxe II with latest microcode and best/last oproms/EFI LAN sata? I’ll be very thankful.
Any chance of getting the new Bios with 22 microcode made available again?
Love your work mate.
I would like to have the last mod of 4101 of the Rampage V extreme but with the microcode 22, please is there any opportunity to do it?
If it had to be done, I would obviously make a donation for the inconvenience.
The microcode 22 supports 6900K?
if not, what are the fastest microcode por the 6900k (6th series)?
Thanks!!!
@Sylar76
@panosxidis

Thanks for the help!
What is the difference between R5E_4101_MOD3 from R5E_4101_MOD2?
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1…IkJ9rNy2n7EMi6r
R5E_4101_MOD2
Only Intel mcode 22 ?
R5E_4101_MOD3
- Added latest Haswell-E / Broadwell-E (306F2/406F1) Microcodes (44/3E)
I rightly found the difference?
@Sylar76
Can you give me link to your greatest and latest Bios for
Rampage V Extreme Edtion 10
and
Rampage V Extreme
Thanks
In advance
What’s a great place for looking at how to add microcode into my dumped bios roms, and bins. I have both a apollo lake and bay trail intel system. The rest of my x86 machines are AMD. Sorry if this is a bit unrelated if this question is too off topic be free to remove this message or move it elsewhere, or warn me or something.
