Is it modded? If so, what did you change?
If not, how much would you charge me for a modded version of this latest rampage bios but with some tweaks?
If someone is interested in the offer, send me a PM, I will explain what and why I need those mods.
I might ask a few questions aswel since im not an expert. Thanks.
The modded bios contains the SATA OROM Legacy/Uefi updated as well as the LAN roms and
the updated CPU Microcodes (both Broadwell-E and Haswell-E). That’s it.
Last thing I want is wakeup on lan. What are the benefits of updating the cpu microcodes ?
Can I/We have 2101 with latest 3504 updates? Thanks
Hi
Two fast questions for this new BIOS
1. What is best ME driver for Windows 10 x64 for this BIOS: 11.0.5, 11.5.x or maybe 11.6.x ?
2. I Am waiting for EZP2010 from eBay ( famous 79 code error and ME corrupted). Is there any obstacle to flash this or any moded BIOS with this Programmer ?
About this modded bios: Does this version include the latest MEI and oprom firmwares? Or do I have to install an older version version first to achieve that? To flash this modded bios I habe to use the flashback method, right?
And another question, if I flash the mothernoard using an old Asus Bios, does it downgrade all modules and the mei firmware aswel?

Thank you very much for your efforts, Skylar76!
I was wondering, is the Rampage V Extreme vulnerable to the recent exploit as discussed here: https://arstechnica.com/security/2017/05…s-for-10-years/
If so, can these fixes be added to the latest firmware https://security-center.intel.com/adviso…anguageid=en-fr
Thanks!

Looks like there is another new bios for this motherboard:
http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA2011/Rampage_V_Extreme/RAMPAGE-V-EXTREME-ASUS-3701.zip
It hasn’t turned up on the support section of the Asus website yet but from what I can gather the changes are as follows:
RAMPAGE V EXTREME BIOS 3701
Fixed memtest86 issue
Fixed Plextor device issue
how did you find the download to that BIOS if it isn’t listed? 0o
I found a thread about it on the ROG forums after I noticed that bunch of new Asus x99 bios had turned up on www.station-drivers.com
The new bios is listed on Rampage Extreme V support download page. Looking forward to a modded version.
Been running official bios 3701 for past two days with no problem.
Hi Again Sylar 76,
You may recall my earlier query (see Post #185) re a previously released version of the same numbered BIOS, although for the Asus X99 Deluxe (V1) rather than the Rampage V and your most kind offer to provide a modded BIOS which I have had in use ever since
Recently, Asus released BIOS 3701 (as with the Rampage V version you modded and kindly shared yesterday) for the X99 Deluxe Board and I was hoping that you might assist once again in providing a updated modded BIOS for the X99 Deluxe. The released BIOS file can be found >here< and any assistance or indeed a modded BIOS would be very much appreciated Information on the Asus Web Site for this board identifies the BIOS Flashback name as “X99D.CAP” if this helps.
Apologies for asking once again on this thread but the similarities between these boards (and BIOSes?) does seem fairly close.
Very best regards,
PC Pilot
can someone mod this latest Rampage V Edition 10 BIOS ?

I would also like this.
Cheers m8, I haven’t updated for a while but I like the idea being able to turn off the bloody annoying flashing standby LED
I will give it a go when I have a spare hour.
