Hello,
I am new here. I have a question … how to install BIOS 3301 MOD ??? When I go in ASUS flash tool - after reading, tool show me label "file cannot readed".
Did this BIOS will work with Intel XEON V4 processors and ES samples ?
http://event.asus.com/2012/mb/USB_BIOS_Flashback_GUIDE/
I think they got included a while back.
Only one last question … I think that now I am with new BIOS 3301 MOD, but how to check to be sure ?
Have a look in the BIOS to see if the raid modules on the new version otherwise I am not sure how. Not on the R5E to guide you.
Improve system stability
I call bullsheet!
Always the same, stability or compatibility… xD
For Rampage V EDITION 10, I’ve updated the microcode (with UBU) of bios 1003 for BW-E, 1C to 1E
Not yet tested, for those who want

You have to rename the .CAP file into R5E.CAP if you use the USB Bios Flashback procedure.
I renamed that file to R5E.CAP and tried flashback flashing it on my Rampage V Extreme (like the other mods I have installed) and this time the button just flashes a couple times then remains solid. Is this one incompatible or something?
Using Sylar mod (thanks mate) after flashing it without any issues, all ok so far!!!
This 3402 solves issues with pciexpress slots control and compatibility and also I can say it works better with 100:133 divisor (3200 or 3466) vs 3301 which handled better 100:100 and 3000 or 3400 memory frequencies.
Thanks, Sylar!!!
Sylar76, changelog for Your MOD please
EFI/OROM SATA both updated to 14.8.2.2397
EFI/OROM Lan GBE both updated to latest version available.
Haswell-E/Broadwell-E CPU Microcodes updated to the latest ones.
Can you do a 3402 full mods version for us with UEFI BIOS Updater v1.65 updates ?
Thanks !
Hi, I’ve been using your modded files for awhile now, however, for some reason I cannot get 3402 to install. I put it on the same thumbdrive I used for the others, plug it into the ROG_CONNECT usb slot and press and hold the button that looks like 2 chain links until it lights up. It just blinks twice and on the third one it is very fast then nothing. Any ideas? Thanks for your work!
Edit: Used my thumbdrive to install windows 10. Found out that it creates a UEFI partition and you need to clean it first to be able to use it again for Flashback.
