@Bagadeath - Send me your modified BIOS so I can check it, and include your images you want used in case I need to rebuild BIOS myself. You can put all in a zip, rar, or 7zip (preferred) and then either attach here or upload to any free file host and post the link here.
How did your flashing fail? What error message did you get? How did you flash, same as the post #1 user mentioned, his method is outlined in the “readme.txt” in the BIOS folder of package at post #1 (you need to replace those 4/6MB BIOS files with yours or you’ll only be flashing in his BIOS)
Hello,
Sorry for the wait, been busy. I don’t have the modified BIOS anymore, or the oerror message, sorry! Deleted in frustration!
I can tell you that I did use the same methiod as Post #1 though.
I have included the images and the original BIOS files in the 7z file as requested.

I really appreciate your help on this, extremely kind of you.
Please let me know if you need anything more.
@Bagadeath - No problem, I’m busy and always behind too so I know the feeling!
Well how I can check your mod BIOS if you tossed it out? Maybe I mod BIOS and it would be exact match to yours, no way to check now
Please upload files to another host, I can’t download from that site ever, always white screen (406 error) and nothing after doing the robot check.
Plus, can never even try another browser either, "you’ve reached your hourly limit"
This one is good - http://tinyupload.com/
@Lost_N_BIOS - Thanks for your patience with me, especially for such a small thing as a splash picture! Have used the site you suggested, link follows.

@Bagadeath - You’re welcome, and thanks for new upload, sorry I couldn’t download from that site I tried several times and ways all without any luck.
I’ll work on this tonight and get back to you soon.
*Edit - I tested and see the issue, ChangeLogo 5.0.0.2 breaks the FIT table, so it cannot be used to edit logo into these BIOS. Well, it could be used, if you then correct the FIT Table after you’re done editing logos.
And actually this has to be done even if you change out logos manually with UEFITool as well. So either way, FIT Table must be corrected post logo edit.
Here is your fixed BIOS @Bagadeath - http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?fil…748792080930308
@Lost_N_BIOS Thanks very much! Really decent of you, much appreciated. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to test it for a week, on holiday. Can I still get back to you here when I do?
@Bagadeath - You’re welcome! And yes, sure, please let me know how it all works once you have a chance to test, doesn’t matter if it’s a month from now even
@Lost_N_BIOS
Hello again. Really, really sorry I didn’t get back to you, life took some unexpected turns. I hope you are still here as I wanted to tell you that I finally managed to get round to testing the BIOS you made me and it worked perfectly, I have the logo that I wanted.
I am extremely grateful for the assistance, it never ceases to amaze me the lovely, helpful people like you that I find here in cyberspace.
Many thanks again, and keep up the good work! Have a great 2020!
Hey @Ferrous and @Lost_N_BIOS ,
It would be awesome if you did a P650SG version of this bios - should be pretty much the same with the sole difference of the gpu?
Hi @Ferrous and @Lost_N_BIOS ,
I second that , I would really really like if one could make the P650SG version as well !!!
I just bought a WD SN550 nvme 1GB, it would save my life if I could boot on it.
I tried myself to insert NvmExpressDxe_Small.ffs to P65SG_05.01 according to another thread but I failed to get any results.
PLease kindly help !
Hi,
Could anyone help me with this pls.?
I have a bad AMI bios flash on my Clevo P650SE(i7-4720HQ, gtx970m 3GB vram, 16GB DDR3L RAM - I’ve upgraded with 8GB - … the laptop is from PC Specialist). I was trying to flash this P650SA bios/EC mod over another one and I think now messed up the EC or the bios on my laptop.
Symptoms: Switching on the laptop I can see the boot logo, I can enter the bios only by spamming F2 (there I can see only 1.05.01 for EC and bios version as well)and enter boot menu also only by spamming F7 but it stops and does a thermal shutdown what’s coming after ‘power on’ about 10 seconds all the time.
I did resets in different ways: taking out CMOS battery and disconnecting AC adapter and CMOS battery pressing power on button for 20 seconds.
Tried booting with Fn+B , Fn+D , Fn+S, Fn+win key etc. and still nothing changed, the nasty thermal shutdown are still appears to be.
I’m willing to donate just to get my laptop back to working state.
Thanks
Dear all experts,
Need your advise on updating the bios of a very old laptop.
It is Aftershock S15 (rebrand of Clevo P650SA) and i am thinking of upgrading the bios to accommodate the NVME M.2 that i plan to purchase.
The current bios version 1.03.03, can i update from 1.03.03 directly to 1.05.01 and then go with this modded bios.
Your help is much appreciated. Thanks.
@Ferrous is it possible to continue using my SATA m.2 drive after flashed this version of BIOS currently installed on both the m.2 slot ? as i have not gotten the nvme replacement yet.
Thanks.
@edwardho
Last time this user was online its back to 2017…cant hope too much regarding an answer.
I do give the advice to locate the SPI BIOS chip and do a backup with a programmer.
This is a barebone model as u know, usually customized for/by many sellers and we never really know was was customized besides hw, but most of them r using Clevo base bios.
U should first try to get in touch with seller support to get an updated version of the 1.05.01. EC 1.05.02, if not available from them, u can procede with this flash at ur own risk only.
The bios mod files presented in #1 post r from Hasee Computer.
So u got 3 options here, take the risk and flash this mod, get new updates from ur vendor (Aftershock), flash it and later mod urself the new update or mod urself ur current 1.03.03 bios version.

@MeatWar
I am grateful for your prompt respond and great advises.
As far as the update bios version is concern the seller is doing a lousy job. No update since 1.03.03.
I managed to find a clevo unofficial repository that contain all the bios, manual and service manual, from there I downloaded all the bios version since 1.03.03 up to 1.05.01 (B:1.05.01 + EC:1.05.02). Then I update from following the version number, 1.03.03 →1.03.04 →1.03.05 → 1.05.01, so far the laptop is still functioning. Therefore I believed that this is just re-brand of clevo P650SA.
Since I have the bios file of 1.05.01, I will compare it to the modded bios if they are similar except the nvme portion and some minor unlock, I will proceed with the flashing. If the differences are far too much I will take you advise on modding it my self with the 1.05.01 that I am currently running.
One last concern, bios with nvme support will it still work with SATA SSD??? the reason I am asking is because my current setup is with sata ssd on both the m.2 slot.
Thanks.
The mod itself, just adds DXE driver modules to the bios to engage the NVMe PCI protocol and communication, it does not alter any hw structure. And as u can see by urself, ACHI DXE will still load
in the bios firmware. So i do not expect the lost of SATA function at all.
I do advise u to do a clean install of the OS. U can use the procedures sated here by Fernando in his guide [HowTo] Get full NVMe support for all Systems with an AMI UEFI BIOS
Good luck
I will ask at least, to share here that lastest base Clevo bios files u got from repository or share the address with us.
@MeatWar
Thanks for the clarification. I may try to insert with the version i am running now.
unofficial Clevo repository : repo.palkeo.com / clevo-mirror / model number
login : repo/repo
Just search for your model in the repository, should have all the bios files and manuals.
Hope this help.
Hello,
I have the same problem as Tobe1212.
Device CLEVO NKP671SE0005G00022
XMG P705 with 970M.
I have a SPI FLASHER and need the software for the ec and bios chip. I used the programmer Ch341a.
Regards Henne
Can check the clevo mirror site for the bios files you required.
Hi,
I have just gotten a new nvme gen3 ssd for testing with this modded bios, unfortunately it is only able to run as gen2. I am not sure if this is the motherboard hardware limitation or anything to do with the bios.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
